Seed-grown plants of this relatively newly introduced Rhododendron species originally collected by Jens Nilsen. Everything we get indirectly from Jens is exquisite and this is no exception. Large glossy leaves covered in thick hair set it apart from its brethren, and the large white flowers in mid-spring want nothing to do with averages either. Growing beautifully in a local Poulsbo garden, and likely to form a 6-10ft plant in time.
